Artfull Gallery

Early Morning Mist RAB (Client Commission)

Stephen Fuller paints from his studio over looking the River Tamar, often using Brunel's Royal Albert Bridge as inspiration. His contemporary paintings of the bridge are probably the most well known and most popular although if you visit his website you will be surprised at the eclectic mix of paintings.

Atishoo Designs

Contemporary arts and crafts gallery in the historic port of Charlestown, run by artist and picture framer Liz Hackney and her family. Showing work by over 80 designer makers, mainly West Country based.

The Alverton Gallery

A delightful and eclectic mixed gallery selling contemporary fine arts and crafts from the South West region. Be sure of a warm welcome and prices to suit all pockets for works by established and upcoming artists. The owners are both artists themselves and can, on occasion, be seen at work.

Bay Restaurant and Gallery

Penzance Hotel

The Bay Gallery can be found in Hotel Penzance’s Bay Restaurant, situated in a most stunning location, high above the Penzance rooftops. This imposing building overlooks the waterfront activity of Penzance harbour. The gallery holds twelve monthly exhibitions in the each year, all by Cornish artists.

Beside the Wave

Beside The Wave is Cornwall's leading landscape gallery. Established in 1989 the gallery shows work of leading contemporary artists, jewellers and potters including Ted Dyer, Paul Lewin, Amanda Hoskin, Neil Pinkett, Andrew Tozer, Richard Tuff and Andrew Giddens. The gallery offers a lively and constantly changing display with up to fourteen exhibitions a year at the gallery featuring the work of individual artists. For anyone who loves art and Cornwall, Beside the Wave has something to offer.

Artist Cooperative
Cooperative gallery with two gallery spaces downstairs create a light and peaceful place to browse and across a courtyard full of plants and shrubs the third ground floor gallery space (the Bray room) was converted into two workshops in 2006 and are let to two members of Creftow. A further gallery space is located on the first floor overlooking the Folk Museum.

Customs House Gallery

Situated by the harbour and with its own tranquil courtyard garden, the gallery is a welcoming space to spend time browsing its eclectic collection of Art and Crafts.

The Cowhouse Gallery

Situated in the picturesque coastal village of Perranuthnoe between Marazion and Helston, The Cowhouse Gallery is run entirely by a group of local artists and craftspeople. This independence allows them to offer a wide range of original work at very affordable prices.
Paintings, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, jewellery, textiles, wood turning and leatherwork all displayed in a very attractive bright art space by the sea.

Dizzard Art Gallery

Art Studio and small gallery set in 3.5 acres of meadow overlooking the sea. Specialising in watercolour, artist Rae Pugh has work on display and offers art tuition and art holidays at the attached cottage Valley View.

The Exchange

Housed in the old telephone exchange and beautifully converted by award-winning architects MUMA, the gallery opened on 7th July 2007, alongside the newly refurbished Newlyn Art Gallery, showcasing the very best in local, regional, national and international contemporary art. Both galleries are free to visit and have an extensive education programme and shops stocking books, jewellery and ceramics by local artists. The Exchange also has a thriving cafe, open for snacks and light lunches.

Latitude 50 is located in the heart of the Cornish countryside in a stunning panoramic setting. Journeyman Furniture

Nicholas Langan designs and handcrafts contemporary furniture of the highest quality. Combined with the workshop and studio is the gallery. The gallery not only shows furniture made by Nicholas but exhibits the work of local artists and craftspeople that compliment his work.
Due to the nature of the business the gallery does not keep regular opening times, so to avoid disappointment it is best to contact the gallery and make an appointment to view the fabulous work on display.

The Jane Adams Gallery

The gallery promotes contemporary art and craft including ceramics, original paintings and prints, textiles, glass, wood, recycled sculpture and is a permanent showcase for Jane Adams Ceramics with a working pottery in the garden.

Lizard Art is a co-operative of artists who live and work on the Lizard Peninsula in furthest South West Cornwall. The Styles of our members, and media in which they work varies greatly, but they are all rooted in the beautiful natural Cornish environment in which they are at home. We have members producing paintings, photography and pottery which is all on display in our Stableyard Gallery in the Courtyard of the Trelowarren Estate, near Helston. As we are a co-operative we steward the gallery ourselves so a member of the group is always available to discuss the work on show with visitors.

The Lander Gallery

The Lander Gallery offers a huge range of paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, art books and limited edition prints. One of the largest commercial galleries in the South West, it is situated in Truro’s Georgian Lemon Street. The gallery is upstairs in the Lemon Street Market, an award winning modern building that is a work of art in itself. The display space is light and spacious, with a soaring glass roof giving an outdoor feel to an indoor space. The wide selection of artists ranges from the fine eighteenth century portraiture of John Opie, “The Cornish Wonder”, through well known nineteenth and twentieth century artists including Lamorna Birch and Ralph Todd of the Newlyn School, to a wide variety of artists working in Cornwall today. There are regular thematic exhibitions of the best in contemporary Cornish art. Browsers are welcome - why not stop for a coffee or lunch in The Gallery Café. Wheelchair access via lift. Toilets. Millennium Gallery

The Millennium Gallery is a large independent contemporary gallery occupying three floors of exhibition space in the heart of St Ives. Morvah School House

Morvah gallery exhibits locally and nationally renowned artists in the upper gallery. Downstairs the coffee shop sells delicious home-made cakes, cream teas, coffee and hot snacks as well as locally hand crafted items such as stained glass, pottery, jewellery, small paintings, prints and cards. We have full disabled access to all areas of the building. The Morvah Schoolhouse also serves as the parish community centre offering a diverse range of events and activities for local people and visitors alike.

New Street Gallery

New Street Gallery is a much loved artist-led gallery showcasing the work of 13 artists including painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, glass, jewellery, photography and much more. Because the artists run the gallery themselves they offer their work at studio prices. Newlyn Art Gallery

Newlyn Art Gallery has a 112 year history of developing regionally significant contemporary art projects. Over the past 20 years the level of ambition within the organisation has increased very significantly, to the point where the gallery consistently delivers nationally significant programmes of exhibitions and education projects.
The gallery was previously limited by its building, necessitating a redevelopment in order to realise its plans to showcase the very best of national and international contemporary art. The newly refurbished gallery reopened on 7th July 2007, alongside major new art space The Exchange, in the heart of Penzance.

Off The Bitten Track

Off The Bitten Track is situated in the picturesque seaside village of Porthleven, Cornwall, just a few moments away from the bustling harbour.
We are a new gallery that exhibits a variety of work including contemporary paintings, photography, handmade greetings cards and surf inspired art to name but a few.
Resident artists Claire Cullen, Emily Slimm and Stephen Palmer have a constant display of work on show, with other artwork in between, so there is usually something for everyone.
The gallery has a laid back and friendly atmosphere where you are free to browse around, or sit outside and take in the peace and quiet!
We also hold open evenings throughout the year, where you can pop along and join us for a glass of wine and nibbles.

Open Space Galleries is situated opposite the Town Hall in Penryn, not far from the historic port of Falmouth. It is a wonderful large, light and airy space showcasing exciting and innovative art and sculpture. The gallery specializes in abstract and figurative art and promotes a changing calendar of shows featuring contemporary paintings, sculptures, photography and installations.

Paul Hoare

Paul Hoare - Cornish artist

Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour Selected Exhibition 2010 and 2011, The Mall Galleries, The Mall, London Watercolour Challenge, Channel 4, Grand Finalist.
Inspired by the Cornish light on the land and sea, Paul works principally en-plein-air to achieve that intimate ‘connection’ with the subject and also in his studio at Trevaunance Cove, St Agnes. His style is primarily watercolour based combined with mixed media techniques in a highly individual and exciting impressionistic style. He also works in acrylics, oils and pastels.
You are welcome to visit the studio, without obligation, where you can view the paintings and art at leisure. We are situated in a spectacular location overlooking the sea at Trevaunance Cove in St Agnes and next to the kitchen for tea and coffee.

Porthminster Gallery

The gallery showcases well chosen paintings, prints, ceramics and sculpture by emerging and leading Cornish and invited British artists. Pydar Gallery and Studios

In a delightful listed building - a real hidden gem.
Five working studios with artists; Lisa Paston, distinctive art style is reminiscent of British railway poster art of the 1930's and Japanese block printing and is becoming increasingly collectible. Jannine Neale, works with oils on canvas, she creates unique art works of trees, landscapes, valleys and the Cornish coast. Tim Clarey, artist, illustrator and tutor, paintings are largely figurative with elements of abstraction. Katherine Nicholls, has a background in illustration and animation, her subjects are often figurative, at times loosely referencing the stylish artists of the1930s in their love of pattern and restrained colour.
Katie Johns’ ‘Faded but Fabulous’ reworks and upcycles vintage and antique furniture through upholstery, painting and decoupage, creating individual and unique pieces for your home. And, Joan Ford, paintings are developed from images seen in her daily life in Truro, she is particularly interested in images which are fleeting and represent the changing life of the city.

Rainyday Gallery

After being based at Cross Street and later in Market Jew Street, art and music promoter Martin Val Baker in 2007 moved his Gallery to the present premises on the terrace opposite W H Smiths in Penzance’s main street. He has now staged 200 exhibitions since 1992. Shows for 2009 include: September; Matthew Lanyon, October; Phil Whiting, November; Alice Mumford and Janet Treloar, December; The Little Picture Show. There is always a show of smaller pictures by many well known local artists such as Bob Bourne, Anthony Frost, Chris Hankey, Matthew Lanyon, Martin Lanyon, Dot Searle, Lewis Mitchell, Nick Williams, Zoe Cameron and others, ceramics by Jill Bevan. Books and a wide selection of cards by local, national and international artists.

St George's Natural Therapy Centre

We are a Natural Health Centre based in an elegant Georgian building in central Truro. We feature a small, but significant art gallery in our beautiful reception area. This open to all.
The gallery is to enable a large through-put of clients for the Centre to view work by local artists. We feature one artist at a time, usually on a rotation of several months. At the moment we are displaying a portfolio of watercolours by Falmouth-based artist Ellen Sunde. All paintings are for sale, and sometimes there are price discounts, at the artist's discretion.

Stoneman Graphics

The gallery deals in ceramics, painting and prints featuring established and new artists,with changing solo and group exhibitions.
The gallery contains six large rooms over three floors.Showing We have a permanent gallery of work from Breon O'Casey and another room dedicated to Sir Terry Frost showing prints from his estate.
Stoneman Gallery is run by Linda Stoneman and also sells images printed in the studios of her late husband, the master printer, Hugh Stoneman.

We are the only gallery outside of London showing prints by William Crozier.

Home of the post-war British Modernism, St Ives provides the artistic foundations for Tate St Ives. Opened in 1993 and built to celebrate the surroundings and atmosphere that inspired many artists, the unique architecture recalls the 'White Relief' works of the artist Ben Nicholson and the unexpected twists and turns of the town of St Ives itself. The Gallery offers a varied programme of exhibitions by internationally-known modern and contemporary artists, emerging artists and Tate Collection works from the St Ives Modernists and artists such as Picasso, Turner or Mondrian. Our regularly changing display of exciting, contemporary and affordable art includes paintings, ceramics, glass, wood carving, iron work, textile art and acrylic design. We also sell art cards and unique hand made gifts - many pieces designed and made exclusively for us.
TAYT Morden is an 'anti-gallery' - we offer a relaxed, bright and welcoming environment where the artists, not the gallery owner, select the work we show.
We are dedicated to helping develop and promote art and craft in the local community and hold small informal workshops in textile art, contemporary flower design, ceramics and jewellery making.
