Artfull Gallery
Stephen Fuller paints from his studio over looking the River Tamar, often using Brunel's Royal Albert Bridge as inspiration. His contemporary paintings of the bridge are probably the most well known and most popular although if you visit his website you will be surprised at the eclectic mix of paintings. |

Bay Restaurant and Gallery
The Bay Gallery can be found in Hotel Penzance’s Bay Restaurant, situated in a most stunning location, high above the Penzance rooftops. Beside the Wave
Beside The Wave is Cornwall's leading landscape gallery. Established in 1989 the gallery shows work of leading contemporary artists, jewellers and potters including Ted Dyer, Paul Lewin, Amanda Hoskin, Neil Pinkett, Andrew Tozer, Richard Tuff and Andrew Giddens. The gallery offers a lively and constantly changing display with up to fourteen exhibitions a year at the gallery featuring the work of individual artists. The Exchange
Housed in the old telephone exchange and beautifully converted by award-winning architects MUMA, the gallery opened on 7th July 2007, alongside the newly refurbished Newlyn Art Gallery, showcasing the very best in local, regional, national and international contemporary art. Both galleries are free to visit and have an extensive education programme and shops stocking books, jewellery and ceramics by local artists. Lizard Art
Lizard Art is a co-operative of artists who live and work on the Lizard Peninsula in furthest South West Cornwall. The Styles of our members, and media in which they work varies greatly, but they are all rooted in the beautiful natural Cornish environment in which they are at home. We have members producing paintings, photography and pottery which is all on display in our Stableyard Gallery in the Courtyard of the Trelowarren Estate, near Helston. As we are a co-operative we steward the gallery ourselves so a member of the group is always available to discuss the work on show with visitors. |
The Lander Gallery
The Lander Gallery offers a huge range of paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, art books and limited edition prints. One of the largest commercial galleries in the South West, it is situated in Truro’s Georgian Lemon Street. The gallery is upstairs in the Lemon Street Market, an award winning modern building that is a work of art in itself. The display space is light and spacious, with a soaring glass roof giving an outdoor feel to an indoor space. The wide selection of artists ranges from the fine eighteenth century portraiture of John Opie, “The Cornish Wonder”, through well known nineteenth and twentieth century artists including Lamorna Birch and Ralph Todd of the Newlyn School, to a wide variety of artists working in Cornwall today. New Street Gallery
New Street Gallery is a much loved artist-led gallery showcasing the work of 13 artists including painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, glass, jewellery, photography and much more. Because the artists run the gallery themselves they offer their work at studio prices. Rainyday Gallery
After being based at Cross Street and later in Market Jew Street, art and music promoter Martin Val Baker in 2007 moved his Gallery to the present premises on the terrace opposite W H Smiths in Penzance’s main street. Tate St Ives
Home of the post-war British Modernism, St Ives provides the artistic foundations for Tate St Ives. Opened in 1993 and built to celebrate the surroundings and atmosphere that inspired many artists, the unique architecture recalls the 'White Relief' works of the artist Ben Nicholson and the unexpected twists and turns of the town of St Ives itself. The Gallery offers a varied programme of exhibitions by internationally-known modern and contemporary artists, emerging artists and Tate Collection works from the St Ives Modernists and artists such as Picasso, Turner or Mondrian.
