After studying ceramics in Exeter College and then going on to do a degree at Cardiff School of Arts, I have come back to Cornwall to start work for the Leach pottery in St Ives. I am employed produce the Leach tableware range and also make my own tableware.
My work is an ongoing practice inspired by the history of thrown pottery. I use soda firing and reduction firing techniques. I use St. Agnes dts stoneware clay and use wood ashes to make my glazes. The pots colours are of the earth and their design is functional and beautiful.
