I have worked with clay and the teapot form for more than 30 years. Early work was predominantly slipcast fun teapots, which have become sought after collectables. More recent work has consisted of small editions of teapots together with hand built and Raku fired pieces.

After studying ceramics in Exeter College and then going on to do a degree at Cardiff School of Arts, I have come back to Cornwall to start work for the Leach pottery in St Ives. I am employed produce the Leach tableware range and also make my own tableware.
My work is an ongoing practice inspired by the history of thrown pottery. I use soda firing and reduction firing techniques. I use St. Agnes dts stoneware clay and use wood ashes to make my glazes. The pots colours are of the earth and their design is functional and beautiful.
