Bowerbird Jewellery

I am an Australian born (with Cornish roots!) jewellery artist/designer, who specialises in creating beaded and mixed-media jewellery and accessories. Most are one-of-a-kind, some are simple but many are complex and intricately made! I am inspired by many things when creating my jewellery - the Cornish coast and landscape, history, nature to name a few. I also incorporate found objects that may have meaning or a history to them, so my work can sometimes tell it's own story! I sell my work through The Lander Gallery , Truro but also on my Folksy shop! As I am a new business, I would like to promote my jewellery via local/Cornish organisations.

Buoy Oh Buoy Jewellery

Camali Design

Necklace by Camali Design

I design and make modern, yet earthy jewellery in my studio in Boscastle on the north Cornish coast. I use sterling and fine silver along with semi precious and precious gemstones, which I source from all over the world. I try very hard to find unusual stones that are particularly interesting or striking and complement these with my own hand crafted silver components to create mostly one of a kind creations. My designs tend to be asymmetric and have a brushed gunmetal grey patina which gives a slight industrial or vintage look. I sell my range of jewellery at arts and crafts events throughout Cornwall and also through my on-line shop. I am open to custom work and wholesale orders are also welcome.

Carla Jennings Jewellery

Contemporary jewellery by Carla Jennings

Contemporary jewellery individually handcrafted from sterling silver and semi-precious stones. Unusual beautiful shapes; simple, contemporary and elegant jewellery that also has that touch of class that you will want to wear time and again.

Commissions gladly undertaken and bespoke pieces of jewellery can be designed and crafted to your specific tastes and ideas. Jewellery parties can be arranged to be hosted in private homes and at fund-raising events.

Jewellery parties are a fun opportunity for women to get together with their friends, have a glass of wine or two and try on as much jewellery as they’d like. The host also has a chance to earn free jewellery of their choice as commission. I’ve teamed up with Lucy Kemp who uses textured precious metal clay with hints of gold and semi-precious stones. Our styles differ but compliment each other and displaying our jewellery together in this way provides a wide variety of choice. Wholesale enquiries also welcome.

Carole Allen Jewellery

Carole Allen Jewellery

My jewellery echoes those colours, with shimmering glass enamel on bright silver.  The designs are inspired by the abundant flowers and foliage in the Cornish hedgerows. Each piece is lovingly hand-made by me in my studio, using traditional methods.  You’ll fall in love with my unique designs which are feminine, contemporary and very wearable. I’ve spent most of my life being involved with design, having studied textiles before changing to jewellery design. I am a member of the Cornwall Crafts Association, Hidden Art and Made in Cornwall.

Cath Bull

Jewellery by Cah Bull

I design and make jewellery in a wide variety of materials, encompassing precious, semi-precious, non-precious and re-cycled elements using old beads and components. I like to mix precious and non precious materials in my work, and sometimes incorporate textiles in pieces. I trained in Birmingham at a time when this sort of behaviour was very much frowned upon.

Chloe Williams

Jewellery created from seaglass

Based near St Ives, I create individual pieces of jewellery from Seaglass washed up on the Cornish shoreline, worn down to smooth organic shapes.
The Seaglass is combined with an array of semi-precious stones, glass, vintage and recycled beads. Because of the nature of the Seaglass no two pieces washed up are the same, making each piece of jewellery unique.
The qualities of the Seaglass jewellery are reflected in the gemstone and metals range, often mirroring the organic shapes and contrasting textures.

Handmade Silver and Gold Jewellery
I have always been a maker of things but decided that metal was the best material for me. I took four years out to gain a Ba (Hons) in Silversmithing and Jewellery. This was a great time for experimenting with more extreme designs and techniques. I now work from my workshop at the back of the www.silverworkzgallery.co.uk in Hayle. I like to to handle the metal and add texture and form. Often I like to embellish with gold granulation. etching is another method I like to include in my designs.

All my jewellery is unique and some are one off peaces which can not only be worn with any outfit but are also talking point when being worn.

I have been making jewellery professionally for 25 years. My collection of work embodies the natural form, inspired by flora, the seashore and architecture. Each year I produced a new collection to add to an already extensive range of jewellery fashioned from a mixed metal medium of brass, copper, sterling silver and 9ct Gold.
I do use some semi-precious stones and beads, essentially because I adore gems, they are the true confirmation of our planet's mineral phenomena. I welcome commission work, the most worthy commission was a greyhound brooch in sterling silver commissioned by Launceston Town Council for the Duchess of Cornwall.

Marsha Drew Contemporary Silver Jewellery

Marsha Drew contemporary silver jewellery

The jewellery I design and create is inspired by nature and natural forms and each piece is individually handmade using simple tools from my small workshop in Polzeath.
I completed a BA (Hons) Degree in Silversmithing and Jewellery in 2011 and during the three years of study I discovered the wonderful technique of foldforming, which is a system of manipulating metal into beautiful, organic, three dimensional forms.
The designs in the current collection have been influenced by the ocean and the technique of foldforming which I find so highly inspiring and enjoyable, has been used to transform flat pieces of silver into forms which capture the clean and fluid lines of a perfect wave.

Ruby's Cornish Contemporary Jewellery Art

Ruby's Cornish Contemporary Jewellery Art

Ruby is a young and innovative jewellery designer based in Cornwall, her jewellery designs reflecting the wild and untamed beauty of this peninsula, her close proximity to the sea and the vast horizon being a key ingredient to her practice. A consistent raw material source is ‘the beach’ where she regularly forages and collects unrefined treasures, which are used as charms and talismans in combination with carefully sourced agates, uncut opal, moonstone and freshwater pearls.
She then uses the more formal skill of silversmithing – cutting, soldering and joining to create a stunning range that manages to combine instinct, intuition and skill of the hand, which manifest in an ever evolving portfolio of ‘one off’ bangles, necklaces, rings, charm bracelets and earrings. Ruby is happy to negotiate and undertake commissions, which require specific gemstone colour combinations and silver design.
*All jewellery is silver assay and maker marked.
