The 'Fair Wednesday' craft and general market

Every wednesday from March till December

Now in its fourth year, this popular event runs from 10am-4pm, every Wednesday from March till December and is well advertised and sign-posted throughout the town. With capacity for nearly 50 stalls, there is always a wide variety of goods on sale including plants, books, beauty products, handknitted items, jewellery, fashion and home accessories, pottery, clothing, signs, clocks, handmade dolls, greeting cards and weekly bargains. Craftwork includes  wood-turning, glasswork, photography, ceramics and painting. New or experienced traders are always welcomed.
Tables and chairs are provided and an initial trade is at the reduced rate of £9.50 per stall.
The usual rate is £14.50 for singles and £25 for doubles. Mains table lighting is compulsory.
Parking is at the nearby railway station or the Leisure centre.

Gift and craft 'Flash' fair

Every Thursday from 24th March till end of September

This event runs every Thursday from early June to late September with occasional dates in March and May. Now in it's fourth year and run by the same team behind 'Fair Wednesday' St Ives, the 'Flash' Fair is well publicised and sign-posted throughout the village. Trading is from 9.30am-4.30pm with a variety of stalls selling hand-made jewellery, scarves, books, bags, clothing, home accessories, pottery, glasswork, wood-turned items, a weekly charity stall and general bargains. There is plenty of scope for new or experienced traders who are always welcomed. Booking is in advance, parking is included as are tables and chairs. Stalls are £13.50 for a single £23 for a double. The Gallery of Crafters

Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday

Fabulous craft fayre in a gorgeous space.
It runs from Friday to Monday each week and starts at Easter and round through till mid Oct/Nov depending on how busy we are.
All traders work is at gallery standard and is handmade in Cornwall.
I am looking for fused glass, felting, ceramics, knitting/crochet and wood work.
Please contact me if you are creating something different that you'd like to sell.
I already have jewellery, photography, artwork, candles and soft furnishings and do not want to double up on mediums.
Tables cost £12 for the day and come with chairs and possible electric point if needed. 
You can do as many or as little days as you wish but if you book in advance for the 4 days you will pay for just 3 for the first week.

The Poly FalmouthTextile Maids are a group of ten contemporary textile artists based in Cornwall.
Cornwall.Collected. is their second exhibition and incorporates aspects of textile art inspired by their own personal responses to the shared theme of ‘Cornwall’.
The eclectic mix of techniques, from mixed media, patchwork, hand and machine embroidery and handmade felt, has resulted in a show of exciting and diverse contemporary textiles.

The Alternative Christmas Present Show

It’s our annual Alternative Christmas Present Show.
Open from 10am – 5pm the Show is a culmination of months of planning! The stalls range from minerals and fossils with local crafts from over the South West. So whether you are looking for family Christmas treats or presents for everyone, do come along!
He’s making a list and he’s checking it twice! Even with his busy schedule, Santa has found time to come and visit for both days!
Birds of Prey, Cornwall Wildlife Trust, and the The Monkey Sanctuary should be in attendance, for an alternative Christmas present that keeps on giving to their causes long after the crackers have been pulled.

Whatever your interest, we aim to make you very welcome here.
There’s something for every member of the family at the Royal Cornwall Show.
It’s the county’s biggest annual event and is brim-full of exhibits and activities which offer so much in the way of entertainment, competition, information, shopping and all that’s best in food and farming.
It's a time and place to meet old friends, conduct business, enjoy Cornwall in all its glory and to welcome thousands of visitors from outside our county.
This is a top agricultural show which attracts increasing numbers of animals, entered into the hundreds of classes which are refined each year. And year on year people travel from further and further afield in the hope of coming away with an award.

We support and promote Cornish-grown and Cornish-produced food both in the trade section and in our own cafes and restaurants.
Main ring entertainment is mounted on a grand scale and the traditional steam fair is a colourful extravaganza; there are stages and avenues alive with music, song and dance.
You can come to the Royal Cornwall Show with a single-minded ambition to buy a tractor or a car. Here is where you will see them all on display.
