The 'Fair Wednesday' craft and general market

Every wednesday from March till December

Now in its fourth year, this popular event runs from 10am-4pm, every Wednesday from March till December and is well advertised and sign-posted throughout the town. With capacity for nearly 50 stalls, there is always a wide variety of goods on sale including plants, books, beauty products, handknitted items, jewellery, fashion and home accessories, pottery, clothing, signs, clocks, handmade dolls, greeting cards and weekly bargains. Craftwork includes  wood-turning, glasswork, photography, ceramics and painting. New or experienced traders are always welcomed.
Tables and chairs are provided and an initial trade is at the reduced rate of £9.50 per stall.
The usual rate is £14.50 for singles and £25 for doubles. Mains table lighting is compulsory.
Parking is at the nearby railway station or the Leisure centre.

Gift & Craft 'FLASH' FAIR

Every Thursday from 24th March till end of September

This event runs every Thursday from early June to late September with occasional dates in March and May. Now in it's fourth year and run by the same team behind 'Fair Wednesday' St Ives, the 'Flash' Fair is well publicised and sign-posted throughout the village. Trading is from 9.30am-4.30pm with a variety of stalls selling hand-made jewellery, scarves, books, bags, clothing, home accessories, pottery, glasswork, wood-turned items, a weekly charity stall and general bargains. There is plenty of scope for new or experienced traders who are always welcomed. Booking is in advance, parking is included as are tables and chairs. Stalls are £13.50 for a single £23 for a double. The Gallery of Crafters

Runs all through the year from Easter until November, Friday - Mondays 10-4.30pm and we stay set up in lovely light and airy secure building over the 4 days.

Lanner Craft And Produce Show

Lanner will be holding their annual craft and produce show on Saturday 30th July.
Again this year we are also holding a craft fair which will be held on Lanner Green just behind the church hall.
Stalls are available at £6, we do ask that you bring your own table we have enough gazebos to hold 7/8 tables but please bring your own if you would rather.
The craft fair will be on between 12-4 with setting up from 11am.
The money raised from the table fee and our Grand Auction to be held at 7pm will be split this year between The Penhaligon Trust and Lanner Good Companions.

Halsetown Village Fete and Beer Festival

A fun filled weekend including craft and community stalls, potters wheel and tile decoration and a Beer and Cider Festival put on by: St Ives Brewery, LWC Drinks and St. Ives Cider.

Cape Cornwall annual art and craft exhibition

Wednesday, 3rd August 2016 until Friday, 19th August 2016

Cape Cornwall Art and Crafts exhibition held at Cape Cornwall School in St Just. The Cape Cornwall Art and Crafts Exhibition, St Just Cornwall, is held in aid of Cancer Research and is usually held for just over 2 weeks in August. For 2015 the St Just Exhibition will run from Wednesday 3rd to Friday 19th August 2016 with the preview evening on 4th August.
There will be three large rooms filled with tables full of local Cornish Crafts, withs a huge variety of art and crafts for sale. A percentage of all sales goes towards Cancer Research, in addition to a submission fee paid by all exhibitors. The variety of products is hugh and includes oil paintings, ceramics, jewellery - beads and silver, wood craft including beautiful turned pieces and carvings, photographs, and a variety of other items including some beautiful handmade rugs.

The Alternative Christmas Present Show

Saturday, 3rd December 2016 and Sunday, 4th December 2016

It’s our annual Alternative Christmas Present Show.
Open from 10am – 5pm the Show is a culmination of months of planning! The stalls range from minerals and fossils with local crafts from over the South West. So whether you are looking for family Christmas treats or presents for everyone, do come along!
He’s making a list and he’s checking it twice! Even with his busy schedule, Santa has found time to come and visit for both days!
Birds of Prey, Cornwall Wildlife Trust, and the The Monkey Sanctuary should be in attendance, for an alternative Christmas present that keeps on giving to their causes long after the crackers have been pulled.
Live entertainment throughout the day.
Hot food available from midday. Bar open 12noon – 2pm.
Admittance to the Show and Gardens is adults £2 with children under 16 free. (Full entry price includes a guided tour of the Caverns ~ running on the hour from 11am – 4pm, open access to the Gardens, and entry to the Show. Adults £6, Children & Concessions £4.)

Market in the Square

Come and visit a lively mixed stall market held on the 2nd Saturday of each month in Launceston's historic town square.
The market features an eclectic selection of locally produced food, drink, arts, crafts and much more.
An ideal opportunity to sample and buy a wide variety of produce, find a unique gift or browse and treat yourself to something nice.
After visiting the market make time to visit the wide variety of shops and businesses in the town.
Call into Launceston Tourist Information Centre and pick up a copy of the Town Trail to discover more about this fascinating Cornish Market Town.
Parking is only £1.00 to stay all day when using Cornwall Council Long Stay and Walkhouse Car Parks.

Whatever your interest, we aim to make you very welcome here.
There’s something for every member of the family at the Royal Cornwall Show.
It’s the county’s biggest annual event and is brim-full of exhibits and activities which offer so much in the way of entertainment, competition, information, shopping and all that’s best in food and farming.
It's a time and place to meet old friends, conduct business, enjoy Cornwall in all its glory and to welcome thousands of visitors from outside our county.
This is a top agricultural show which attracts increasing numbers of animals, entered into the hundreds of classes which are refined each year. And year on year people travel from further and further afield in the hope of coming away with an award.
Dog and goat sections; rare breed classes. A top flower show and thriving countryside area. Rabbits, cage birds, cavies - even bees get noticed here!
We support and promote Cornish-grown and Cornish-produced food both in the trade section and in our own cafes and restaurants.
Main ring entertainment is mounted on a grand scale and the traditional steam fair is a colourful extravaganza; there are stages and avenues alive with music, song and dance.
You can come to the Royal Cornwall Show with a single-minded ambition to buy a tractor or a car. Here is where you will see them all on display.
