Love Saltash Market

Saturday, 6th September 2014

Saltash is joining in the with the high profile, Love Your Local Market campaign led by the National Association of British Market Authorities, with full support from the wider markets industry and government.
This gives Saltash the chance to join over 700 markets across the country by taking part in Love Your Local Market campaign and we would be offering a monthly market with 20 exhibitors, local performers and children’s activities in order to boost economic activity and improve footfall in the town of Saltash.
Saltash shall be holding a monthly market while highlighting the importance that our local businesses plays in the heart of our communities.
If every adult in Saltash spent just £5.00 per week in their local independent shops, instead of online or at the big supermarkets it would be worth an extra £3.2 million per year going to the local economy. Which means more jobs, better facilities and a nicer place for us all to live. Makes you think, doesn't it?
