2013 Patchwork Pitch Challenge

Tuesday, 1st January 2013 until Saturday, 1st June 2013

2013 Patchwork Pitch Challenge supporting Children's Hospice South West
Truro Wool invite you to join the 2013 Patchwork Pitch Challenge.
Knit or Crochet (using machine washable wool) as many 12" x 12" squares as you wish.
Take them in to Truro Wool, 2 St Mary's Street Mews, Truro. TR1 2BE with a £1 donation per square supporting Children's Hospice South West.
All squares will be sewn together in an attempt to cover 70m x 65m (The size of a 6 a-side Football Pitch)
The pitch will be displayed on Lemon Quay, Trurp on Friday 21st June.
Following this the whole display will be split up into smaller throws/cushion covers and sold/raffled to raise further funds for Children's Hospice South West.

You don’t have to trade for the 2 days, just what suits you.
Single tables/spaces this year are £13.50 with trading from 9.30 am until 4pm, unloading from 7.30am.

Come and join our great family fundraising fun day which will include an indoor Cornish craft and local produce fair,  live entertainment from local groups, car boot, fun dog show and agility displays, charity auction, evening barn dance, car show, children’s activity area including funfair rides, licensed bar and the back to school sports day team challenge.
Something for all the family to enjoy.

Holistic Mind Body and Soul Event in aid of The Last Chance Hotel
We are holding our first Holistic Mind Body Soul and craft event at over the border in Plymouth, Devon on Saturday, 27th July 2013
There will be therapies, retail and handmade craft stalls, readers, art, psychic artists, workshops and talks, and lots more.
Everyone is welcome.

Market and cream tea

A market including craft stalls will run from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Cream teas will be served between 2.00 pm and 4.00 pm.
The event is being organised by Computers for Oldies who are selling a 6ft space for £6.00 in which you put your own table, or if CfO provides a table you pay £8.00.
This is to be a fund-raising activity for the computer group and it is also expected that traders will also make money.

Mount Edgcumbe Classic and American Car Show and Fayre

Sunday, 4th August 2013

Mount Edgcumbe Classic and American Car Show and Fayre is a family day out in the beautiful setting of Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, near Torpoint (PL10 1HZ) with 500 American and Classic cars to see, a craft fayre and stalls, a car boot fair, amusements, refreshments, a licensed bar and live music. 
And the house and gardens will be open too. 
All proceeds from the event go to Cornwall Hospice Care and the Friends of Mount Edgcumbe Country Park.  Entrance is free.  Car parking is £5.  Or arrive by Cremyll foot ferry from Plymouth.
