Ashley is a leading contemporary Cornish artist and renowned colourist. He has exhibited widely and is one of the gallery artists at the Great Atlantic Gallery, Falmouth and St Just. In 2011 he was selected for the RA Summer Exhibition and has been short listed for the Canvas and Cream prize. In addition to his art practice he is also an accomplished art tutor and puts on a local programme of painting workshops throughout the year. Barbara Bell, ceramic artist and qualified teacher gives classes in her custom-built studio overlooking the sea at Port Isaac. Barbara's influences come from the sea and cliffs around her house and a strong visual reference from many years living overseas. The studio is set as a teaching facility with a good library and range of equipment. Barbara has worked in mainstream education and has sound knowledge of criteria required for A-levels, Foundation and City and Guilds qualifications.
