Barbara Bell Pottery Holidays in Port Isaac
Barbara Bell, ceramic artist and qualified teacher gives classes in her custom-built studio overlooking the sea at Port Isaac. Barbara's influences come from the sea and cliffs around her house and a strong visual reference from many years living overseas. The studio is set as a teaching facility with a good library and range of equipment. Beyond Patchwork
Beyond Patchwork run a variety of one day, monthly and six week workshops, at Fraddon Village Hall; Coast and Country Crafts and Quilts, Perranarworthal and at Quilt Groups. These workshops cover a selection of mixed media, surface techniques, design, embellishments and stitching to enhance a variety of new projects. Kidz R Us Theatre group
The Kidz R Us Theatre group in St Ives was set up 15 years ago and began life as a one-off performance to raise money for the Save the Children Fund at the Guildhall in St Ives. Philip Barnett and Margaret Banfield from the local operatic society assembled a small group of brave kids to stage a single concert but it was such a success that the audience begged for more of the same and so Kidz R Us was born. |
