Barbara's influences come from the sea and cliffs around her house and a strong visual reference from many years living overseas. The studio is set as a teaching facility with a good library and range of equipment. Barbara has worked in mainstream education and has sound knowledge of criteria required for A-levels, Foundation and City and Guilds qualifications. |

Kidz R Us Theatre group
The Kidz R Us Theatre group in St Ives was set up 15 years ago and began life as a one-off performance to raise money for the Save the Children Fund at the Guildhall in St Ives. Philip Barnett and Margaret Banfield from the local operatic society assembled a small group of brave kids to stage a single concert but it was such a success that the audience begged for more of the same and so Kidz R Us was born. |

I also build sculptures from natural and recycled materials.
